Music, Food & Friends

Throughout the year St. Francisville is home to numerous annual festivals and special events attracting the local residents and travelers alike. Good food and music bring friends together while others make new acquaintances.

There's the annual Audubon Pilgrimage, held over 30 years,  private and public plantation homes open for tours, period costumes, dance, exhibits, art sale, antiques and much more.

Other festivals, past and present include; the Garden Symposium, The Day the War Stopped, Camellia's in the Country, Christmas in the Country, Audubon Country BirdFest, Feliciana Hummingbird Celebration.

A large draw in an April weekend and the month of October is the Louisiana State Penitentiary Angola Prison Rodeo.  Visitor come from every where for this exciting event, along with film makers and writers from numerous countries.
