![]() This early plantation remains in the same family which established it in the 1790's. The antebellum home, a raised English cottage with Victorian embellishments added in the 1850's, is filled with priceless antiques, oil portraits, and the area's finest original Victorian formal parlor, its 12-piece rosewood set still in the original upholstery. Surrounding the home are 19th-century gardens and a grove of moss-draped live oaks planted in 1799. Bed & Breakfast accommodations are provided in private cottages with plenty of historic charm scattered across the extensive grounds.
